What is the World Card?
The World Card is our multi-currency card. It allows you to make business payments in 15 currencies directly from your World Account balance with no FX fees. Issue a virtual card instantly or order a physical World Card to spend in-store and on the go.
How do I apply for a World Card?
Issuing your first card
You’ll need a verified World Account to apply for a World Card. From your account dashboard, issue a virtual card instantly for free, or order a physical card and pay a one-off fee.
- Go to the World Card section in the main navigation bar
- Tick ‘I agree and accept’ and click ‘Apply now’
- Select either a virtual or physical card
- Virtual cards are free; physical cards have a one-off shipping fee
Note: As the main account holder, you can assign the card to yourself, another verified director or an authorised non-director of your business. They can then enter their own name as the cardholder when paying online.
Issuing extra cards
- Under ‘World Card ‘in the main navigation bar, click on ‘Apply for a new card’
- Enter a card nickname then click ‘Apply’
- You can issue multiple virtual and physical cards, and assign them to different campaigns, teams or currencies
