Can existing WorldFirst customers use the app?
Yes, WorldFirst primary account holders can download the app and enjoy the available features. However, sub-users are not currently supported in the app.
How do I log in to my account?
If you are the primary user of an existing WorldFirst Account, you can log in using Email/Mobile phone/Biometric ID.
Android users can also login with Google ID. For example, if your Google ID email is the same as your WorldFirst account email, we can link these two account together, so that you can also login with Google ID.
Account & Payments
What kind of payments can I make on the app?
You can send funds in 90+ currencies to your own accounts or third-party accounts (bank accounts or WorldFirst accounts).
How long do transfers take to process?
Foreign currency payments typically take 1-5 business days, with some regions offering same-day processing. WorldFirst account-to-account transfers are instant and free.
What is Pay via email?
(UK/EEA only) You can send money to someone even without knowing their bank details. Just enter the recipient’s email address and set up the transfer. The recipient will receive an email to securely input their bank details to complete the payment.
Currency & FX
Can I open additional currency accounts?
Yes, you can open new currency accounts in 21 supported currencies including EUR, USD, GBP, AUD, CAD, JPY, SGD, and more.
Can I convert my balance into a different currency?
Yes, you can convert balances on the app. Go to Homepage, tap Convert, enter the amount, choose buy/sell currencies, review the exchange rate, and complete the conversion.
Can I set up rate alerts?
Yes, you can set up rate alerts to monitor live rates. Navigate to Live Rates, tap Rate Alerts, choose your currency pair, enter target rate, and select notification methods.
World Card
How to activate a World Card?
After registration and onboarding:
- Log in to the app
- On the app Homepage, select Card tab
- Agree to the terms
- Tap Get World Card to activate instantly.
How do I pay with my World Card?
To make a payment on a merchant checkout page, you will need to enter your World Card details.
To retrieve your World Card details:
- On the app Homepage, select Card tab
- Click Details
- Verify your identity to see your Card Number, Expiry Date and CVC
Can I temporarily freeze my World Card?
Yes. To freeze your World Card:
- On the app Homepage, select Card tab
- Choose the target card
- Tap Freeze
Once frozen, the card cannot be used to pay with until unfrozen.
Statements & Settings
Can I view my account statement on the app?
Yes. Scroll down to the Transactions section on the app Homepage to view all transactions. These can be searched by date, transaction type and currency.
Can I change my password on the app?
To change your password:
- Go to app Homepage
- Tap the Profile icon
- Choose Privacy and Security
- Select Change password.
You will then be prompted to enter your current password before confirming your new one.
How do I get in touch with WorldFirst support?
Tap Profile icon in the top-left corner and click on Help to either start a chat, access email support or find phone support options.
Notifications
Will I receive notifications on my phone?
Yes. To receive push notifications, ensure both your mobile device’s notification settings and the app’s notification permissions are enabled.
