WorldFirst Global Sourcing Expo New User Promotion Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions (these “Terms and Conditions“) govern the Promotion (as defined below). By participating in the Promotion, you confirm that you accept these Terms and Conditions and agree to comply with them.

Description of the Promotion

The promoter of the Promotion is World First Pty Ltd (Australian Business Number 42 132 368 971, registered office at Level 17, 55 Clarence Street, Sydney, NSW 2000, Australia) (“WorldFirst”).

During the Promotion Period (as defined below), a new user who has successfully opened a World Account with WorldFirst through a special registration QR code made available at the Global Sourcing Expo held on 12 June 2024 to 14 June 2024, in Sydney, Australia (“New User”) may be eligible to receive the WorldFirst New User’s Reward (as defined below) in accordance with these Terms and Conditions (the “Promotion“).

Promotion Period

From 12 June 2024 to 14 June 2024 (the “Promotion Period“).

Relevant Countries and Regions

Australia, New Zealand and other countries or regions supported by the account service offered by WorldFirst time to time.

WorldFirst New User’s Reward

The “WorldFirst New User’s Reward” refers to the Payment Fee Vouchers (as defined below).

A New User may be eligible to receive the WorldFirst New User’s Reward, provided that such person satisfies the applicable conditions set out below and successfully passes WorldFirst’s review process.

WorldFirst reserve the right at all times to determine, in its sole discretion, that a person (i) is not eligible to receive the WorldFirst New User’s Reward, (ii) is not eligible to participate in this Promotion, and/or (iii) to otherwise disqualify a person from participating in this Promotion, for any reason. This includes, without limitation, where WorldFirst has knowledge of or can reasonably conclude, at any time during or after the Promotion Period, that the relevant person has committed acts or omitted to carry out acts that would disqualify that person from participating in the Promotion or receiving WorldFirst New User’s Reward (this may include, for example, where the relevant registration / transactions of such person are incomplete, reversed or refunded). WorldFirst shall not be liable to any person for disqualifying such person from participating in the Promotion, and/or from receiving any WorldFirst New User’s Reward. WorldFirst further reserves the right to claw back the WorldFirst New User’s Reward or to deduct the value of the WorldFirst New User’s Reward from a person’s World Account.

Payment Fee Voucher

The following shall apply to the Payment Fee Vouchers:

a. A New User who has successfully opened a Word Account with WorldFirst may be eligible to receive five (5) “Zero Payment Fee” vouchers (“Payment Fee Voucher”).

b. The Payment Fee Voucher shall be applied to an eligible New User’s World Account within seven (7) working days upon the New User satisfying the conditions set out herein and successfully passes WorldFirst’s review process.

c. Payment Fee Vouchers are subject to availability and is valid from the date on which it is issued, up till 31 December 2024 (date inclusive).

d. Payment Fee Vouchers may only be used by WorldFirst customers who have satisfied the conditions set out herein and successfully passes WorldFirst’s review process.

e. A Payment Fee Voucher may be used to apply a discount to the service fee payable on a “same-foreign-currency withdrawal/transfer” (i.e., a withdrawal or transfer transaction where the WorldFirst customer has elected the same currency for both the sending currency and the receiving currency) or a “cross-currency withdrawal/transfer” (i.e., a withdrawal or transfer transaction where the WorldFirst customer elects a different currency for the sending currency as the receiving currency are different).

f. Only one (1) Payment Fee Voucher may only be applied per single “same-foreign-currency withdrawal/transfer” or “cross-currency withdrawal/transfer”.

g. Payment Fee Vouchers are not transferable, replaceable, refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash, credit, product or privilege or other benefits in kind, whether in full or in part.

h. Payment Fee Vouchers may only be redeemed via computer (PC).

i. The benefits redeemed through a Payment Fee Voucher cannot be used in conjunction with other discounts or promotion, unless otherwise stated.

Further Terms Applicable to New Users in the Relevant Countries and Regions

1. WorldFirst reserves the right to, in its sole discretion, determine and/or decide all matters relating to or arising in connection with the Promotion and/or these Terms and Conditions. Any such determination and/or decision will be final and binding.

2. The FX rate that WorldFirst provides in connection with FX transactions must comply with applicable laws and regulations. Therefore, WorldFirst cannot guarantee that the final FX rate it provides will always reflect any discount ranges described in the Promotion or any marketing materials prepared for the Promotion.

3. Any clauses in these Terms and Conditions determined by any court or other competent authority to be unlawful and/or unenforceable will be treated as severed from these Terms and Conditions and will not invalidate other clauses of these Terms and Conditions which will continue in full force and effect.

4. These Terms and Conditions are made for the benefit of participants of the Promotion, and are not intended to benefit any third party or be enforceable by any third party.

5. To the extent permitted by applicable law, WorldFirst reserves the right to amend the terms of the Promotion, and/or to suspend or cancel the Promotion at any time, without liability to any party. WorldFirst also reserves the right to extend the Promotion Period in its discretion and these Terms and Conditions shall apply to such extended Promotion Period. Any amendments to the Promotion will be published on the Promotion webpage and/or notified to New Users in an appropriate manner. Following any change or amendment to these Terms and Conditions, your continued participation in the Promotion shall constitute your acceptance of the amended Terms and Conditions and the Promotion in force at that time.

6. Persons participating in the Promotion shall bear all expenses arising from and/or in connection with participating in the Promotion.

7. Each New User warrants that:

7.1 it is legally able to participate in the Promotion according to the laws and regulations applicable to it;

7.2 to the best of its knowledge, all information disclosed by it to WorldFirst is complete, true and accurate;

7.3 it consents to participate in the Promotion in the capacity of the New User and consents to the use of its personal data by WorldFirst in accordance with WorldFirst’s privacy policy and applicable laws for the purpose of this Promotion; and

7.4 it will not use the Promotion in any way that WorldFirst (in its sole and absolute discretion) considers to be unreasonable, unethical, excessive, or in bad faith; or in any way that breaches any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation, or that is in any way unlawful, fraudulent, or wrongful, or has any unlawful, fraudulent, or wrongful purpose or effect.

8. The account service used by persons registered in the Relevant Countries and Regions is provided by All the prevailing terms and conditions, including the privacy policies, governing the World Accounts (collectively the “World Account Terms“) shall apply to a New User and are to be read together with these Terms and Conditions. Please refer to the World Account Terms for further information. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any of the World Account Terms, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail only to the extent of matters relating to the Promotion. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any terms set out in any marketing materials prepared for the Promotion, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail. While all information provided herein is believed to be correct and reliable at the time of printing or publishing or posting online, WorldFirst makes no representation or warranty whether expressed or implied, and accepts no responsibility or reliability for its completeness or accuracy.

9. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, under no circumstances will WorldFirst or any of its affiliates be liable under any theory of tort, contract, strict liability or other legal or equitable theory for lost profits, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, each of which is excluded by agreement of WorldFirst and you regardless of whether such damages were foreseeable or whether WorldFirst or any person has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Notwithstanding anything in these Terms and Conditions to the contrary, WorldFirst’s cumulative liability, including for claims, expenses, damages or indemnity obligations under or in connection with its obligations under these Terms and Conditions, the Promotion and/or the Payment Fee Vouchers, will not exceed USD$500,000. In no event shall WorldFirst, its affiliates, agents, representatives, directors, officers, or employees be liable for any act or omission resulting from circumstance beyond their reasonable control. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you hereby waive any and all rights to bring any claim or action related to this Promotion and/or the Payment Fee Vouchers beyond one (1) year from the first occurrence of the act, event, condition or omission on which such claim or action is based.

10. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

11. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions, including any question regarding their existence, validity or termination, shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration in accordance with the Australian Center for International Commercial Arbitration (ACICA) Arbitration Rules, which are deemed to be incorporated by reference into this clause. The number of arbitrators shall be one. The seat, or legal place, of arbitration shall be Sydney, Australia. The language to be used in the arbitral proceedings shall be English.
