Singapore 2025 – Over two days, the WorldFirst team met hundreds of SMEs, entrepreneurs and industry leaders at The Accounting & Business Show Asia 2025. We talked about what’s driving growth in the region, and shared conversations about your top priorities – faster, simpler and smarter ways to scale your businesses internationally.

Our booth was buzzing with conversations about one key challenge: how to make cross-border payments seamless for growing businesses.
Our Singapore country manager Shawn Shen presented a practical session on navigating cross-border payment challengers with confidence. His key takeaway was that businesses need tools that take the friction out of global payments, so they can focus on driving growth – not operational processes.
On the “Pay Smarter, Grow Faster” panel, Veronica Teo of 2C2P shared expert insights on optimising payment infrastructure to support expansion across multiple markets. Together, these discussions reinforced one truth: smarter payment solutions are the engine behind business expansion.

A highlight of this year’s event was our collaboration with TikTok for Business, allowing attendees to explore how they can optimise their advertising efforts and pay smarter using the World Card. With an exclusive event promo available onsite, we helped businesses unlock real savings whenrunning global ad campaigns.

True to WorldFirst style, our booth became a hub of activity. Attendees grabbed freshly brewed cups from Highlander Coffee, collected event-only swag, and exchanged insights with our on-site specialists. Many shared their excitement about WorldFirst’s growing suite of solutions, including multi-currency accounts and global payment tools designed for modern SMEs.

We’re proud to have played a part in connecting Asia’s business community and shaping discussions around cross-border payments. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, joined our panels or simply came for a chat and coffee. Every conversation reflected the same spirit — ambition, innovation and a passion for international growth.
As Asia’s business landscape continues to expand, WorldFirst remains committed to helping businesses move money globally — quickly, securely and affordably.
