WorldFirst signs partnership with The Prince's Trust

As a Patron supporter WorldFirst will work with The Trust across a number of initiatives including the Enterprise programme which offers mentoring support and funding for 18-30 year olds looking to start a business.

This includes a new workshop, which will help The Trust’s budding entrepreneurs get to grips with selling on online marketplaces and managing their finances across different currencies.

Danny Howe, UK Country Manager, and member of WorldFirst’s Community team, explains more:

"We’re passionate about entrepreneurship and helping make the process of doing business around the world easier, cheaper and faster and so The Prince’s Trust is a really great fit for us.

We work with tens of thousands of businesses around the world who are at various stages of maturity and we’re excited to share some of our experience with the ambitious youngsters who are just starting out.

On top of that, many of the team can bring their own experiences of WorldFirst’s own growth story to the party too.

We applaud anyone thinking of starting a business and think there’s an interesting new consideration for today’s entrepreneurs: the internet, global marketplaces and communications platforms, mean that it is easier to do business around the world than ever before."

Hannah Little, Corporate Partnership Manager at The Prince’s Trust adds:

“We’ve loved getting to know the team at WorldFirst and we’re excited to have them on board.

Our Enterprise Programme supports young people from the very beginning, helping them to take the seeds of an idea all the way to launch and that wouldn’t be possible without the support, experience and counsel of experts from organisations like WorldFirst.

We’re very much looking forward to the international trade dimension that WorldFirst will bring to the programme.”

We’ve committed to The Prince’s Trust as a Patron Partner for four years and will support them through participation in sponsored events, volunteer days and workshops and mentoring, as well as the Enterprise Programme.
