The World Card is a business virtual card linked to your World Account. It lets you pay suppliers, platforms and service providers directly from your multi-currency account balance.
Use your World Card – a multi-currency card – to:
- Pay suppliers who accept card payments, instead of relying on bank transfers
- Set up recurring payments for software tools and subscriptions
- Pay for digital ads on platforms like Meta, Google and TikTok
- Cover travel and accommodation bookings.
Since it’s a multi-currency card, no FX fees will apply when you pay in 15 major currencies from your existing balances. These include USD, GBP, EUR, NZD, SGD and HKD.
No foreign exchange fees are charged when transacted in these currencies, provided you hold enough balance: SGD, USD, CNH, EUR, GBP, JPY, HKD, AUD, NZD, CAD, CHF, CZK, MXN, PLN, SEK
If you transact in one of these 15 currencies and you hold sufficient balance in that currency in your World Account, the balance will be deducted from the currency balance.
If your transaction currency isn’t one of these 15 currencies, or it is one of these 15 currencies but with insufficient balance, the balance will be deducted from your World Account in USD (Singapore region only). If you don’t hold enough balance in your USD account, the transaction will fail.
Right now, World Cards can only be issued to verified directors or authorised non-directors of your business. The main user of the World Account just needs to click ‘Add Card’ and choose the relevant person as the Cardholder.
If you’re adding another director, we might need to verify a few details first (eg. ID, residential address). This normally takes less than one working day.
At the moment, only the main user can add and manage cards online. Sub-user access for card management is on the way.

You need a verified WorldFirst account with onboarding completed to apply.
Physical cards are coming in 2025.

When you use your WorldCard to pay for eligible business expenses, you’ll earn 1.2% unlimited cashback. No minimum spend and no cap. Cashback is automatically credited to your account.
This applies to all spend made with your multi-currency card, including same-currency transactions in USD, GBP, EUR and more. Whether you’re booking travel, paying for software subscriptions, or running ad campaigns, your virtual card rewards you as you grow.Your cashback will be credited in USD to your USD currency account on the last day of the following month.
