How does Revolut Business work?
Revolut Business lets users send and receive international payments through a multi-currency account in 30+ currencies including AUD, EUR, GBP, USD and more. Payments are first deducted from the available balance in the payment currency. If the balance is insufficient, Revolut automatically converts funds from another currency at the applicable exchange rate.
Revolut Business offers both free and paid plans. The Basic plan starts at S$0/month and includes business banking features like multi-user control, but comes with limited no-cost transfers and currency exchange. Paid plans start from S$15/month, increasing the monthly allowance for no-cost international transfers (from 0 to 5) and FX exchange (from S$1,500 to S$13,000), while adding features such as expense management, purchase orders, approvals and advanced spend controls.
Features of Revolut Business
Multi-currency account
Revolut Business allows businesses to hold balances in up to 30 currencies and exchange in 25+ currencies, including USD, EUR, GBP and CHF, through a single multi-currency account. Once you’ve exceeded that allowance, you’ll pay S$0.20 per local transfer and S$8 per international transfer.
Each business plan includes a monthly allowance for currency exchange at Revolut’s exchange rate, although rates differ outside market hours. If you exceed the monthly allowance, Revolut charges an additional 0.6% fee on currency conversions, on top of any other applicable FX fees or markups.
Transfer allowances also vary by plan: the basic plan includes 5 free local transfers and no free international transfers, while paid plans include 100 free local transfers and 5 free international transfers, with allowances increasing on higher tiers. Transfers beyond your monthly allowance incur a fee of S$0.20 for local transfers and S$8 for international transfers.
