Someone from your team has started registering your business with WorldFirst. To complete registration, your company’s CEO, Director, or an Authorised Person needs to complete a short video verification. This page has everything they need to get it done.
Who can complete this step
Only a CEO, Director, or Authorised Person can complete video verification. If you’re not sure who that should be at your company, check with the colleague who shared this page with you before you begin — starting the process as the wrong person means having to redo it.
Choose how you’d like to verify
- Assisted video call (recommended — under 5 minutes) A short live call with a member of our onboarding team, who guides you through each step in real time. This is the fastest way to complete verification, with no separate uploads to manage afterwards.
- Self-upload Complete all four steps yourself and upload them directly in the online portal, at your own pace.
Either way, you’ll cover the same four steps.
The four steps
Step 1: Show your full face Make sure your face is clearly visible so we can confirm your identity.
Step 2: State your full legal name
Step 3: State your position Remember: only a CEO, Director, or Authorised Person can do this.
Step 4: Show proof of your business See below for what counts.
What counts as proof of business
You only need to show one of the following:
- Company signboard or storefront signage

- Business products, inventory, or goods

- Company official seal or financial stamp
- Company letterhead
- Physical or electronic invoices, contracts, purchase orders, or other business documents
- Interior view of business premises, office equipment, or production facilities

Any single item from this list is enough — you don’t need to prepare more than one.
Frequently asked questions
How long does video verification take?
The assisted video call typically takes under 5 minutes. Self-upload can take longer, since you’re completing each step independently.
Can someone other than the CEO or Director complete this?
Only if they’re a formally Authorised Person for the business. If you’re unsure whether someone qualifies, check with your onboarding contact before starting.
What if I don’t have any of the proof-of-business items to hand?
If you are unable to show any physical business setup, please:
1. Briefly explain how your company operates and why these visuals are not available in the video.a photo of a signboard, letterhead, or even an invoice on your phone will work.
Do I need to schedule the assisted video call in advance?
When registering for a WorldFirst account, once you select ‘assisted video call’ > click ‘submit’. Our onboarding team will reach out over email to schedule a video call. If you’re unable to locate the email in your inbox, do check your spam mail.
