The type of Receiving Account to set up to withdraw from Freelancer.com
You need to set up a Receiving Account in the corresponding currency of your Freelancer.com payment (USD, NZD, AUD, GBP, HKD, SGD, EUR, CAD, INR). Otherwise, Freelancer.com may convert your balance into your account currency, for which they will charge a fee.
| Step 1 – Set up the Receiving Account
- On your World Account dashboard, go to the ”Collection“ tab
- Then click on ”Manage Accounts“ > ”Add a New Receiving Account“. You can then select the currency of your Receiving Account
- Once the account is set up, you can click on ”Details“ to get the account details
| Step 2 – Link your Receiving Account to Freelancer.com
First bind the bank account to Freelancer.com.
- Click your profile picture thumbnail from the main menu bar
- Then, click “Settings”. Go to the “Payment & Financials” tab
- Click the “+ Payment Method” button
- Select your preferred payment source: “Credit/Debit Card”
- Provide the details required
- Make sure all information is correct to avoid verification errors. Click “Continue” to complete verification
Next, authenticate the card.
- Click your profile picture from the main menu bar, and choose “Settings”
- Select the “Trust & Verification” tab
- Scroll down and click the “Authenticate Credit or Debit Card” button
- Click “Authenticate Card”
- Click on “Withdraw funds”
- Choose your preferred withdraw methods, you can also check the withdraw details on this page
- Enter the amount and currency, as well as the details of your bank account
- Note: Freelancer.com requires a 15-day clearance period for first-time withdrawals before processing your funds
