Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions (these “Terms and Conditions“) govern the Promotion (as defined below). By participating in the Promotion, you confirm that you accept these Terms and Conditions and agree to comply with them.

1. Definitions and Interpretation

In these Terms and Conditions, the following words and expressions shall have the following meanings:

1.1 “Eligible Transaction” means any of the following:

1.1.1 receipt of one or more payments totaling an aggregate amount of at least USD 200 (or the equivalent in a different currency) in connection with transactions on marketplaces;

1.1.2 making one or more payments totaling an aggregate amount of at least USD 2,000 (or equivalent amount in a different currency or currencies) using its World Card;

1.1.3 making one or more payments totaling an aggregate amount of at least USD 2,000 (or an equivalent amount in a different currency or currencies) from the Referred Person’s World Account (i) to a third-party bank account using the World Account; or (ii) in connection with transactions on 1688.com using the World Pay feature

1.2 “FX” shall have the meaning given to such term in clause 5.6;

1.3 “ICC” means the International Chamber of Commerce;

1.4 “Partner” shall have the meaning given to such term in clause 4.2;

1.5 “Promotion” shall have the meaning given to such term in clause 2.1;

1.6 “Promotion Period” shall have the meaning given to such term in clause 3;

1.7 “Promotion Privacy Notice” means the WorldFirst UEFA Nations League Finals 2025™ Promotion Privacy Notice issued by WorldFirst in connection with the Super Referral Promotion, among other promotions conducted by WorldFirst;

1.8 “Referral Link” shall have the meaning given to such term in clause in clause 2.1;

1.9 “Referrer” shall have the meaning given to such term in clause in clause 4.1;

1.10 “Referred Person” shall have the meaning given to such term in clause 4.2;

1.11 “Referred Person’s Reward” shall have the meaning given to such term in clause 6.1;

1.12 “Referred Person’s Reward Criteria” shall have the meaning given to such term in clause 6.1;

1.13 “Referrer’s Reward” shall have the meaning given to such term in clause 5.1;

1.14 “Referrer’s Reward Criteria” shall have the meaning given to such term in clause 5.1;

1.15 “Super Referral Promotion” shall have the meaning given to such term in clause 7.1;

1.16 “Super Referrer” shall have the meaning given to such term in clause 7.1;

1.17 “Ticket” shall have the meaning given to such term in clause 7.1;

1.18 “UEFA” means Union des Associations Européennes de Football, the official body for European football and organiser of UEFA Nations League Finals 2025™;

1.19 “UEFA Ticketing App” shall have the meaning given to such term in clause 7.17;

1.20 “USD” means United States Dollars;

1.21 “World Account Terms” means all of the prevailing terms and conditions, including the privacy policies, governing the World Account service provided by WorldFirst;

1.22 “World Card Terms” means all of the prevailing terms and conditions, including the privacy policies, governing the World Cards;

1.23 “World Card” means the World Card issued by WorldFirst to a World Account user to be used for payments;

1.24 “WorldFirst” refers to World First Netherlands B.V. and/or its affiliates.

2. Description of the Promotion

2.1 During the Promotion Period, a Referrer will be provided with a unique referral link (a “Referral Link”) via the WorldFirst portal, which it can share with Partners in order to invite each of them to participate in the Promotion as a Referred Person (the “Promotion”).

2.2 The Referral Link will direct each Referred Person to the WorldFirst website in order for it to register as a new user and open a World Account.

2.3 If a Referred Person satisfies the Reward Criteria, the relevant Referrer may be eligible to receive the Referrer’s Reward.

2.4 If a Referred Person satisfies the Referred Person’s Reward Criteria, such Referred Person may be eligible to receive the Referred Person’s Reward.

3. Promotion Period

3.1 The “Promotion Period” is the period beginning on 1 April 2025 and ending on 31 July 2025 (both days, inclusive).

4. Referrers and Referred Persons

4.1 Only existing WorldFirst customers who are registered in the countries or regions approved by World First Netherlands B.V., from time to time, and who have passed WorldFirst’s verification checks, can be referrers for the purposes of the Promotion (“Referrers”).

4.2 Any eligible Partner who is not an existing WorldFirst customer and who receives a Referral Link from a Referrer can be a Referred Person for the purposes of the Promotion (each, a “Referred Person“). For these purposes, “Partner” shall mean a corporation, company, entity or person of any kind or nature, that is eligible to be a customer of WorldFirst.

4.3 Partners must be based in a jurisdiction approved by WorldFirst.

5. Referrer’s Reward

5.1 A Referrer may be eligible to receive a cash bonus reward of USD 200 per the “Referrer’s Reward”), provided:

5.1.1 the relevant Referred Person is not an existing WorldFirst customer and has not applied for a World Account prior to the date of the referral;

5.1.2 the relevant Referred Person successfully registers for a new World Account through the Referral Link shared by such Referrer during the Promotion Period and completes WorldFirst’s authentication and review process; and

5.1.3 the relevant Referred Person then successfully carries out an Eligible Transaction within 90 calendar days of it successfully registering for a new World Account and completing the authentication and review process under clause 1.2 above,

(collectively, the “Referrer’s Reward Criteria“).  

5.2 The following will not constitute an Eligible Transaction:

5.2.1 withdrawals or transfers from the Referred Person’s World Account to the Referred Person’s linked bank account;

5.2.2 payments through “WorldTrade” from the Referred Person’s World Account;

5.2.3 payments from the Referred Person’s World Account to a different World Account or a WorldFirst receiving account;

5.2.4 funds in transactions not in connection with transactions on marketplaces or a top-up of funds to a WorldFirst customer’s World Account;

5.3 The Referrer’s Reward shall be credited to the Referrer’s World Account by the final working day of the month following the month in which the Referred Person satisfies the Referrer’s Reward Criteria and successfully passes WorldFirst’s review process. Such World Account must be valid, open and functioning, and must not be suspended, canceled, and/or terminated, at the time the Referrer’s Reward is credited to such account.

5.4 WorldFirst has the sole discretion to delay or cancel the crediting of the Referrer’s Reward, for any reason that it deems appropriate, including for the purposes of assessing the eligibility of the relevant Referrer.

5.5 The Referrer does not act on behalf of WorldFirst in any capacity. As such, the Referrer is not authorised to and cannot:

5.5.1 provide advice with regards to WorldFirst products or services, which includes making recommendations or statements of opinion which are intended to influence, or which could reasonably be regarded as being intended to influence, the Referred Person in making a decision in relation to WorldFirst products or services;

5.5.2 be involved in conduct that is misleading or deceptive, or likely to mislead or deceive, in relation to WorldFirst products or services;

5.5.3 deal in any financial products or services on behalf of WorldFirst; and

5.5.4 arrange for a Referred Person to deal in WorldFirst products or services.

5.6 Each opening of a World Account and each foreign exchange (“FX“) transaction is subject to standard compliance requirements and due diligence by WorldFirst.

5.7 Each Referrer warrants that:

5.7.1 it is fully authorised, and legally able, to participate in the Promotion according to the laws and regulations applicable to it;

5.7.2 to the best of its knowledge, all information disclosed by it to WorldFirst is complete, true and accurate;

5.7.3 it consents to participate in the Promotion in the capacity of Referrer and consents to the use and sharing of its personal data by WorldFirst in accordance with WorldFirst’s Privacy Policy and applicable laws for the purpose of the Promotion; and

5.7.4 it will not use the Promotion in any way that WorldFirst (in its sole and absolute discretion) considers to be unreasonable, unethical, excessive, or in bad faith; or in any way that breaches any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation, or that is in any way unlawful, fraudulent, or wrongful, or has any unlawful, fraudulent, or wrongful purpose or effect.

5.8 The Referrer’s Reward is not transferable or exchangeable for credit, products, or privileges or other benefits or payments in kind, whether in full or in part, and is not refundable or replaceable.

5.9 Should WorldFirst determine, in its sole discretion, that a Referrer is not eligible to receive the Referrer’s Reward or to participate in the Promotion for any reason (including but not limited to a breach of these Terms and Conditions or any applicable laws or regulations, improper use of any information relating to the Promotion, fraud, attempted fraud, or any other illegal or illegitimate activity), or where WorldFirst has knowledge of subsequent events which would mean that the Referrer would not have been entitled to receive the Referrer’s Reward (including but not limited to where the transactions of the Referred Person were reversed, refunded or charged back), WorldFirst has the right to disqualify such Referrer and shall not be liable to any such Referrer. WorldFirst further reserves the right to claw back the Referrer’s Reward or to deduct the value of the Referrer’s Reward from the Referrer’s World Account(s).

6. Referred Person’s Reward

6.1 During the Promotion Period, a Referred Person will be entitled to receive a cash bonus reward of USD 200 (“Referred Person’s Reward”), provided that it successfully:

6.1.1 registers for a new World Account through the Referral Link shared by a Referrer;

6.1.2 completes WorldFirst’s authentication and review process; and

6.1.3 carries out an Eligible Transaction within 90 calendar days of it successfully registering for a new World Account,

(collectively, the “Referred Person’s Reward Criteria”).

6.2 The Referred Person’s Reward shall be credited to the Referred Person’s World Account by the final working day of the month following the month in which the Referred Person satisfies the Referred Person’s Reward Criteria and successfully passes WorldFirst’s review process. Such World Account must be valid, open and functioning, and must not be suspended, canceled, and/or terminated, at the time the Referred Person’s Reward is credited to such account.

6.3 Should WorldFirst determine, in its sole discretion, that a Referred Person is not eligible to receive the Referred Person’s Reward or to participate in the Promotion for any reason (including but not limited to a breach of these Terms and Conditions or any applicable laws or regulations, improper use of any information relating to the Promotion, fraud, attempted fraud, or any other illegal or illegitimate activity), or where WorldFirst has knowledge of subsequent events which would mean that the Referred Person would not have been entitled to receive the Referred Person’s Reward (including but not limited to where the transactions of such WorldFirst customer were reversed, refunded or charged back), WorldFirst has the right to disqualify such Referred Person and shall not be liable to any such Referred Person. WorldFirst further reserves the right to claw back the value of the Referred Person’s Reward or to deduct the value of the Referred Person’s Reward from the Referred Person’s World Account(s).

7. Super Referral Reward

7.1 The top two (2) Referrers who refer the highest number of qualified Referred Persons by 30 May 2025 (the “Super Referrers”) will each receive one (1) VIP hospitality ticket to the UEFA Nations League Finals 2025™ final match to be held on 8 June 2025 at 20.45 in Allianz Arena, Munich, Germany between the winners of the following two semifinals: (i) Germany vs Portugal, to be held on 4 June 2025 in Munich, Germany, and (ii) Spain vs France, to be held on 5 June 2025 in Stuttgart, Germany (the “Ticket”) (the “Super Referral Promotion”).

7.2 The Super Referral Promotion is a time-limited promotion beginning on 1 April 2025 and ending on 30 May 2025 (both days inclusive). For the avoidance of doubt, only Referred Persons who successfully satisfy the Referred Person’s Reward Criteria set out in clause 1above by 30 May 2025 will be counted for the purposes of the Super Referral Promotion.

7.3 The value of each Ticket is between €150 and €1,000.

7.4 The Super Referrers will be contacted by WorldFirst by email. It is the responsibility of the Super Referrers to ensure that their contact information is accurate and up to date The Super Referrers will need to take further steps to claim the Ticket, as described in clause 17et seq.

7.5 Each Super Referrer will receive one (1) Ticket, and will not be able to win more than one (1) Ticket.

7.6 Tickets are subject to availability. If for any reason any Tickets are not available, WorldFirst reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute such Tickets for others of equal or greater value.

7.7 The Tickets are not exchangeable and cannot be sold or redeemed for cash, monetary value or for any other form of compensation.

7.8 If a Super Referrer closes its World Account or its World Account is suspended or restricted in the period between it (i) entering the Super Referral Promotion and (ii) receiving its Ticket, such Super Referrer will no longer be eligible to receive the Ticket.

7.9 Each Super Referrer undertakes to comply with the UEFA Nations League Finals 2025™ Ticketing Terms and Conditions (as amended and/or superseded) available at https://editorial.uefa.com/resources/0297-1d6895cac2f9-935435552685-1000/unlf_2025_gp_fans_terms_and_conditions_en.pdfand any other applicable third-party terms and conditions.

7.10 Each Super Referrer shall be solely responsible for their travel arrangements to Germany (including any visa application, if required) for the relevant UEFA Nations League Finals 2025™ final match and no assistance whatsoever will be provided by WorldFirst or any other third party in connection with this. In the event that a Super Referrer is unable to attend the relevant UEFA Nations League Finals 2025™ match for any reason, WorldFirst will not (i) replace, substitute or transfer the relevant Ticket and/or (ii) reimburse any expenses incurred by the Super Referrerin connection with the Ticket or compensate the Super Referrer in any way. Each Ticket will be invalidated automatically when it expires on the date stated on the Ticket.

7.11 Any costs incurred by a Super Referrerincidental to any Tickets are the responsibility of the Super Referrer and not WorldFirst or any other third party. For the avoidance of doubt, the Tickets do not include:

        7.11.1 transportation, including to and from airports, within the home country of the Super Referrer or within Germany;

        7.11.2 travel insurance; or

        7.11.3 the reimbursement of any costs and expenses (including but not limited to expenses incurred in connection with visa applications, accommodation, travel taxes, food and beverages and other events or activities).

7.12 WorldFirst shall not be liable for any mishaps, injuries or accidents that occur in the course of the delivery of any Tickets to, or usage of any Tickets by, a Super Referrer.

7.13 The stadium or venue hosting the relevant UEFA Nations League Finals 2025™ match has the right to refuse entry and/or to eject any person who does not adhere to its terms, checks and requirements.

7.14 Entrance to the stadium or venue hosting the relevant UEFA Nations League Finals 2025™ match shall be:

         7.14.1 subject to compliance with (i) all relevant terms and conditions (including these Terms and Conditions), (ii) the stadium or venue rules (to be provided by the relevant stadium or venue or by UEFA), (iii) any sanitary measures or policies in place (imposed by either the relevant stadium, venue or UEFA) and (iv) all applicable laws and regulations;

         7.14.2 permitted upon presentation of a valid Ticket per person and, upon request, proof of identity (such as a passport or national identity card); and

         7.14.3 subject to the relevant Super Referrer meeting any applicable minimum age requirements.

7.15 Tickets are for personal use of the relevant Super Referrer. Each Super Referreragrees not to:

         7.15.1 resell, transfer, or offer to resell or transfer any Ticket, whether for free or for any other consideration;

         7.15.2 use a Ticket for any promotional, advertising, fundraising or any other similar commercial or non-commercial purpose;

         7.15.3 use a Ticket as a prize (or part of a prize) in any contest, competition, (promotional) game of chance, lottery or sweepstake;

         7.15.4 combine and sell a Ticket as part of any package of goods or services or any travel or hospitality package (such as combining airline tickets, accommodation and Tickets); and/or

         7.15.5 advertise, promote, distribute or sell any product or service anywhere in the relevant stadium or venue, including by displaying obvious commercial messages on clothing or articles brought into the stadium or venue.

7.16 If a Super Referrer violates any of the conditions set out above, the Super Referrer may be denied entry into, or removed from, the relevant stadium or venue and the relevant Ticket may be cancelled immediately. No compensation will be payable to a Super Referrer following such events. Furthermore, WorldFirst reserves the right to claim back from a Super Referrerany part of a Ticket that has already been fulfilled or awarded (if applicable).

7.17 Each Ticket will be provided by UEFA in the form of an electronic “mobile phone ticket”. It is the sole responsibility of each Super Referrer to download and install the UEFA Mobile Tickets app (or such other app as communicated to the Ticket Winner by EURO Events SA) (the “UEFA Ticketing App”) and to ensure that the relevant Tickets are displayed correctly on their mobile phone.

7.18 Each Super Referrermust successfully register with the UEFA Ticketing App, and complete any other steps required by UEFA, in order to claim the Tickets. WorldFirst will attempt to contact each Super Referrer by telephone or by email to provide reasonable assistance in connection with registering with the UEFA Ticketing App. WorldFirst shall have no liability for a Super Referrer’s failure to receive any form of communication from WorldFirst.

7.19 Each Super Referrer shall be required to provide the following personal data when registering with the UEFA Ticketing App along with any other information required by UEFA or under applicable laws: first name(s), last name, date of birth, email address, mobile telephone number and passport or ID number. Each Super Referrer shall be provided with a privacy notification via the UEFA Ticketing App by UEFA and EURO Events SA.

7.20 As (i) each Ticket (including the relevant seating information: block, row and seat number) must be linked to an individual and (ii) WorldFirst, as independent data controller, is required to provide UEFA and/or EURO Events SA with the details of each Super Referrerupon request, each Super Referrer shall ensure that all such personal data is correct and available and provided to WorldFirst, UEFA and its relevant entities, and/or the relevant authorities for matters related to safety and security at the relevant UEFA Nations League Finals 2025™ final match.

7.21 It is the responsibility of each Super Referrer to successfully complete all of the steps required to claim any Tickets. WorldFirst will not be liable for any Super Referrer failing to claim any Tickets.

7.22 Tickets will be issued by UEFA and not by WorldFirst. UEFA will determine the time(s) at which Tickets are issued.

7.23 If a Super Referrer does not provide information requested by WorldFirst or follow any instructions received from WorldFirst within 72 hours of winning any Tickets, WorldFirst may disqualify such Super Referrer from the Super Referral Promotion and the relevant Tickets may be won by another eligible Participant.

7.24 Each Super Referrer acknowledges that WorldFirst may pass such information to its agents and UEFA solely for the purposes of administering the Super Referral Promotion. Participants’ personal details will at all times be kept confidential and in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and the Promotion Privacy Notice. The Promotion Privacy Notice can be accessed on the Promotion webpage or by contacting WorldFirst pursuant to clause 10. A Super Referrer can request access to its personal data, or have any inaccuracies rectified, by contacting WorldFirst at [email protected].

8. Further Terms

8.1 WorldFirst reserves the right to, in its sole discretion, determine and/or decide all matters relating to or arising in connection with the Promotion and/or these Terms and Conditions without prior notice. Any such determination and/or decision will be final and binding.

8.2 To the extent permitted by applicable law, WorldFirst reserves the right to amend the terms of the Promotion, and/or to suspend or cancel the Promotion at any time, without liability to any party. WorldFirst also reserves the right to extend the Promotion Period in its discretion and these Terms and Conditions shall apply to any such extended Promotion Period. Any amendments to the Promotion will be published on the Promotion webpage and/or notified to participants in an appropriate manner. Following any change or amendment to these Terms and Conditions, your continued participation in the Promotion constitutes your acceptance of the amended Terms and Conditions and the Promotion in force at that time.

8.3 The FX rate that WorldFirst provides for transactions must comply with applicable laws and regulations. Therefore, WorldFirst cannot guarantee that any FX rate finally provided will reflect the discount range described in the Promotion.

8.4 Each opening of a World Account and each FX transaction is subject to WorldFirst’s standard compliance and due diligence requirements.

8.5 Each participant in the Promotion warrants that:

8.5.1 it is legally able to participate in the Promotion according to the laws and regulations applicable to it, and that it is fully authorised to do so;

8.5.2 to the best of its knowledge, all information disclosed by it to WorldFirst is complete, true and accurate;

8.5.3 it consents to participate in the Promotion in the capacity of participant;

8.5.4 it consents to the use and sharing of its personal data by WorldFirst in accordance with WorldFirst’s Privacy Policy and applicable laws, and the sharing of its personal data between WorldFirst, for the purposes of the Promotion; and

8.5.5 it will not use the Promotion in any way that WorldFirst (in its sole and absolute discretion) considers to be unreasonable, unethical, excessive, or in bad faith; or in any way that breaches any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation, or that is in any way unlawful, fraudulent, or wrongful, or has any unlawful, fraudulent, or wrongful purpose or effect.

8.6 Persons participating in the Promotion shall bear all expenses (including any tax liability) arising from and/or in connection with participating in the Promotion.

8.7 Severability: Any clauses in these Terms and Conditions determined by any court or other competent authority to be unlawful and/or unenforceable will be treated as severed from these Terms and Conditions and will not invalidate other clauses of these Terms and Conditions, which will continue in full effect.

8.8 Third Party Rights: These Terms and Conditions are made for the benefit of participants of the Promotion, and are not intended to benefit any third party or be enforceable by any third party.

8.9 WorldFirst reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse a claim in connection with the Referrer’s Reward or the Tickets, if it has reasonable grounds to believe that any relevant participant has:

8.9.1 breached these Terms and Conditions, the World Account Terms or any other third-party terms and conditions that are applicable in connection with the Promotion;

          8.9.2 failed to comply with instructions of WorldFirst, UEFA or any other relevant body;

8.9.3 misused WorldFirst’s intellectual property rights including trademarks and/or materials;

8.9.4 made any misrepresentations (negligently or fraudulently);

8.9.5 abused the Promotion in any way;

          8.9.6 acted in a manner that is abusive, dangerous or anti-social or that causes a nuisance; and/or

8.9.7 engaged in any illegal or criminal activity including fraud in connection with the Promotion or any application for WorldFirst’s services.

8.10 The World Account Terms and World Card Terms shall apply to existing WorldFirst customers and are to be read together with these Terms and Conditions. Please refer to the World Account Terms and World Card Terms for further information. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any of the World Account Terms, World Card Terms, and these Terms and Conditions shall prevail only to the extent of matters relating to the Promotion. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any terms set out in any marketing materials prepared for the Promotion, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail. While all information provided herein is believed to be correct and reliable at the time of printing or publishing or posting online, WorldFirst makes no representation or warranty whether expressed or implied, and accepts no responsibility or reliability for its completeness or accuracy.

8.11 To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, under no circumstances will WorldFirst or any of its affiliates be liable under any theory of tort, contract, strict liability or other legal or equitable theory for lost profits, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, each of which is excluded by agreement between WorldFirst and you regardless of whether such damages were foreseeable or whether WorldFirst or any person has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Notwithstanding anything in these Terms and Conditions to the contrary, WorldFirst’s cumulative liability, including for claims, expenses, damages or indemnity obligations under or in connection with its obligations under these Terms and Conditions, will not exceed USD $500,000. In no event shall WorldFirst, its affiliates, agents, representatives, directors, officers, or employees be liable for any act or omission resulting from circumstance beyond their reasonable control. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you hereby waive any and all rights to bring any claim or action related to the Promotion beyond one (1) year from the first occurrence of the act, event, condition or omission on which such claim or action is based.

9. Governing law and Arbitration

9.1 These Terms and Conditions and any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands.

9.2 All disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions, including any question regarding their existence, validity or termination, shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration administered by the ICC in accordance with the Rules of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce for the time being in force, which rules are deemed to be incorporated by reference in this clause. The seat of the arbitration shall be Paris. The Tribunal shall consist of one arbitrator. The language of the arbitration shall be English.
