The cost of your transfer is made up of two parts: the live GBP to CNY exchange rate and a transfer fee. The fee is calculated as a percentage of the amount you send and may vary depending on the currency and transfer details.

First-time recipients should search for “Flash Collect” (闪速收款) in their Alipay App to activate the service and complete a quick ID verification. Once set up, future transfers will deposit automatically.

In most cases, the recipient doesn’t need to take any action. The money will be sent directly to their mainland China bank account.
