How do I send money from UK to China with WorldFirst?
1. Create your personal account
To send money, you first need to download the WorldFirst App.
Once downloaded, select the “United Kingdom” as your region. You will be asked to provide an email address and then set a password.
Select “Personal use” to complete the account creation.
2. Complete identity verification
Before you can make a transfer, we need to verify your identity. You will be asked to upload an ID document (a Chinese/UK passport, or a UK driving licence) and complete a facial scan.
3. Start Your Transfer
On the home page, go to “Send”
4. Confirm the transfer amount and fees
Enter the amount and currency you want to send, check the real-time exchange rate and fees, then tap “Continue”
5. Choose your recipient
You can search for an existing recipient or select “Add new recipient“.
6. Select the receiving method
If you are adding a new recipient, please select a receiving method: Alipay or Bank account.
7. Select the transfer purpose
Select the purpose of this transfer to your chosen recipient.
8. Review your payment.
Review your transfer amount, rates, and recipient details to ensure everything is correct.
9. Pay for your transfer
Select your payment bank from the list, or choose manual bank transfer to complete the payment.
10. Transfer Complete!
Congratulations, you’re all done! You can track your payment and progress by selecting it under Transactions on the home screen.
Please Note:
For your first transfer from WorldFirst to Alipay, the recipient must search for “Flash Collect” in the Alipay app to activate the service and complete verification. This is a one-time setup. All future transfers will be deposited automatically with no further action required.
