Freelancers in Pakistan and Bangladesh can use the World Account to collect USD payments from Fiverr. Here’s how
A freelancer in Pakistan or Bangladesh billing US$500 for a completed order sees USD 400 arrive in their Fiverr account after Fiverr’s 20% commission is deducted. From there, the choice of withdrawal method decides how much of that US$400 will actually make it into the freelancer’s hands.
With a USD account, freelancers can receive their payments in USD without any deductions in between and hold the funds until they decide what to do with them.
In this guide, we take a look at how to set up a USD account with WorldFirst and get paid on Fiverr.
Fiverr holds every buyer’s payment in escrow from the moment an order is placed. That protects both sides: the buyer knows the freelancer has been prepaid before starting work, and the freelancer knows the funds already exist before delivering.
Once the buyer marks the order complete (or after Fiverr’s automatic clearance timer runs out), the earnings enter a clearing period:
Fiverr’s own commission of 20% is deducted from the gross order value. Beyond that, additional fees apply depending on the withdrawal method chosen.

Fiverr freelancers have four ways to move earnings out of the platform:
Fiverr caps withdrawals at US$ 5,000 per transaction. There’s also a 24-hour waiting period after any withdrawal method is added or changed, and a 48-hour hold after the verified phone number is updated. These are worth remembering when planning cash flow around bigger payouts.
Fiverr enforces a 24-hour hold on any new withdrawal method before it can be used to move funds.
Once the setup is active and cleared funds are available:
Fiverr’s clearing period is 14 days for most sellers or 7 days for Top Rated, Seller Plus Premium and Pro sellers. After that, Fiverr’s own 24-hour hold on new withdrawal methods applies. Once set up and active, the actual bank transfer typically takes 1 to 3 business days.
Standard requirements include proof of identity for the account holder, proof of business or freelance registration where applicable, and any additional supporting documents WorldFirst requests during verification.
