Purchases made using a virtual card with available balance in the same currency do not incur fees. If the required currency is not available, the payment is converted at a competitive exchange rate. Chipper Cash is a global payments provider offering personal and business accounts in 21+ African countries including Nigeria and Ghana.1,2 Business accounts include the same core features as personal accounts, such as international payments, USD virtual accounts and USD virtual VISA cards, while also providing higher transaction limits and priority customer support.2,3,4 When paying via the Chipper Cash card, USD transactions carry a flat US$0.90 fee per transaction.4

Businesses and individuals in Nigeria and Ghana can use a USD virtual account to receive USD payments from overseas clients and supported online platforms.2,5 However, Chipper Cash does not publicly specify support for holding balances in multiple currencies beyond USD or offer local receiving accounts in multiple currencies.
