In Africa, its business accounts are available in Nigeria, Kenya and Morocco. Ghana is not currently supported.1 The business accounts have a US$15 one-time setup fee and transfers cost around 0.3%.3

Business customers can hold USD, GBP and EUR, with local account details that can be shared with clients, employers and payment platforms.1 Businesses can also convert between USD, GBP and EUR, pay team members and withdraw funds to local bank accounts.1 One limitation is that GBP accounts held by customers in Nigeria cannot receive incoming funds.4

Businesses that need to make frequent cross-border transactions can use WorldFirst’s multi-currency account, the World Account, to send, receive, hold and convert funds in multiple currencies. The account provides local account details in 15+ currencies, including USD, EUR, GBP, CNH, AUD and NZD. Instead of setting up separate bank accounts in different countries, businesses can use these local currency accounts to collect overseas payments in the World Account. Balances can then be used for further cross-border payments or transferred back to a business bank account.
