How WorldRemit works for South Asian recipients

To send money to Pakistan or Bangladesh, the sender creates a WorldRemit account through its website or the WorldRemit money transfer app and completes any required identity checks.2,3,4 They then select the destination, enter the transfer amount, choose an available payout method and provide the recipient’s details, including their full legal name, city and relevant bank or mobile money account information.3,4

After selecting a payment method available in their country, the sender completes the transaction.2 The recipient receives the funds in their designated account or collects them in cash, depending on the chosen method.2
