Date: 01/04/2014

Following the announcement of their partnership in the UK earlier this year, World First, a leading international payments provider, and OANDA Corporation, the first online provider of comprehensive currency exchange information and global provider of innovative foreign exchange trading services, are pleased to announce the expansion of their international payments service to the U.S., Canada, Australia and France. With World First’s flexible online payments platform OANDA clients can now make high-speed international money transfers around the clock.

The World First-OANDA payments service allows private individuals to make transfers for things like repatriating income, paying for international school fees, making property investments, sending money to family overseas, or for a variety of other reasons. Business users are able to book transfers for importing and exporting goods and services.

“Our online payments platform will give OANDA’s clients the capability to make international money transfers 24 hours a day, seven days a week,” said Chris Russell, CEO at World First USA. “World First has forged an international reputation for great exchange rates and award winning service in the last ten years, a fact which we’re very proud of. We’ll make sure that OANDA users get the same high level support to which our own customers have become accustomed.”

“Our Currency Converter is a very popular tool with travellers around the world, and we’re proud to offer our clients in the U.S, Canada, Australia and France an exceptional international payments solution for any occasion,” said Trevor Young, Vice President of Product Management, OANDA Corporation. “With the expansion of our partnership with World First, OANDA continues to offer our clients the same fair and transparent pricing they have come to know across all of our services and offerings.”

OANDA will continue to expand its international money transfer service into additional markets later this year.
