SadaPay is a Pakistan-based digital financial services provider focused on everyday personal banking through its mobile app.1 Its services include domestic transfers, bill payments, mobile top-ups, international payments and a Mastercard debit card.1

The account is designed for personal rather than business use and does not provide a multi-currency balance for holding foreign currencies.1 International card transactions can also incur a fee of up to 6%, plus a fixed charge on transactions of PKR 800 or less.2

For businesses that need to receive international payments, hold foreign currencies or send cross-border transfers, this guide explores other providers that offer different account structures and payment features. It also gives a roundup of a multi-currency account supporting 15+ currencies, the World Account by WorldFirst.

Why consider an alternative to SadaPay?

Users comparing SadaPay with other payment providers may look for features that are not part of its personal-account offering:

  • Business accounts: SadaPay does not offer dedicated business accounts, so businesses may compare providers with business-focused account features1
  • Multi-currency holding: SadaPay does not support holding foreign currency balances, while some providers offer accounts for receiving, holding and converting multiple currencies1
  • Bangladesh availability: SadaPay does not operate in Bangladesh, so users based there need to consider providers that offer services in the country
  • Marketplace payouts: SadaPay does not support marketplace payouts, so sellers using platforms such as Amazon or Etsy may need providers with marketplace integrations
  • International card fees: International card transactions can incur a 6% fee plus a fixed charge2
