Yes. Etsy allows sellers from Malaysia to register and open a shop directly through Etsy. To start selling, you’ll need to create an Etsy account, complete your shop details and enrol in Etsy Payments. Etsy Payments processes customer payments and sends payouts to your chosen payout account. Malaysian sellers can list products in MYR or another supported currency, including USD, GBP and EUR.

Every item listed on Etsy must comply with the platform’s Creativity Standards Policy.

Visit Etsy’s seller page and create an Etsy account. You’ll need to verify your email address and provide basic personal or business information before setting up your shop. Etsy may charge a one-time shop set-up fee. If the fee applies, the amount is displayed before you complete the final shop set-up process.

Choose a shop name that reflects your business and products. Then customise your storefront by adding your logo, shop banner, profile photo and shop policies covering shipping, returns and exchanges. To receive payouts, connect a valid bank account and complete Etsy’s identity verification process. If your shop lists products in USD, GBP or EUR but your payout account is in MYR, Etsy applies a 2.5% currency conversion fee before sending your funds.
