Newegg – the leading tech-focused e-retailer in North America – recently presented WorldFirst – a global leader in the international payments market – with the “Best International Payment Partner” award during its 14th annual Eggie Awards gala at the Omnia Nightclub at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. This year’s Eggie Awards provided recognition to Newegg’s partners that contributed to the company’s overall success throughout 2017. Customer service, distribution, gaming technology, logistics, marketing, payments, small business, supply chain and transportation partners from around the globe were among those recognized earlier this month.
WorldFirst was chosen as the “Best International Payment Partner” because of the company’s professionalism, program productivity, global marketing support and overall commitment to helping Newegg expand its business.
“We are honored to have been selected among so many valuable partners, as Newegg’s coveted ‘Best International Payment Partner’,” said Alex Arnold, Head of Partnerships – Americas & EMEA for WorldFirst. “Building relationships is at the heart of what we do. Without our partners, employees and customers, we wouldn’t be able to achieve all we have on an international scale. Being recognized by Newegg for what we bring to the table as a collaborator is an honor, and we are excited to continue working together to engage a growing number of partners throughout the world.”
WorldFirst and Newegg have been collaborating since 2015. For the past nearly three years, WorldFirst has enabled Newegg’s US marketplace to be accessed by sellers overseas. Because of the partnership, Newegg has been able to continuously increase the number of sellers in their marketplace.
“We look forward to the future with Newegg and to opening new doors when it comes to streamlining international payments,” Arnold said.
