World First USA, Inc was named “Best Small Business Payments Solution” in the 2017 FinTech Breakthrough Awards. The FinTech Breakthrough Awards recognizes the top players in financial services and technology with over 3,000 nominations across 15 countries.
World First USA, Inc. was named Best New Payments Player in the inaugural Tradestreaming Awards. The Tradestreaming Awards recognize the most cutting-edge and transformative technologies, companies and people in the finance industry.
This is the second Queen’s Award we’ve received following a win in 2009. It is the highest accolade for business success in the UK and given to companies recommended to HM The Queen by the Prime Minister. The award recognises our growth and innovation and our role in helping thousands of SMEs around the world trade across borders.
The Sunday Times ‘International 200’ list, compiled in partnership with HSBC, ranks Britain’s mid-market private companies with the fastest-growing international sales. We’ve been a regular on the list over the past couple of years and in 2016, we were proud to be placed at number 7, the highest ranking for a financial services company!
Once again in 2015, we were recognised in the Sunday Times Best Companies Guide, with a First Class accreditation. We were named in the 100 Best Small Companies to Work For in 2013, achieving a Three Star Accreditation in 2013. Also we received an Outstanding accreditation (Two Star) in 2011 and a First Class (One Star) accreditation in 2010.
Following multiple years of consecutive growth, World First UK regularly appears in the prestigious Real Business Hot 100 list, which recognises the UK's fastest growing businesses. We've now appeared on the list four times; in 2015 we were listed at no. 31 ahead of some other well-known privately-owned brands like the Design Museum, Wahaca and Bet365.
We are proud to have won the 2013 UK Customer Experience Award in the Financial Services - Banking and Investment category. We beat Barclays, HSBC, RBS, Yorkshire Building Society and Allen International to the prize that celebrates and promotes exceptional customer service.
We're delighted that the hard work of our team was recognised with this award in 2012. Our entire company ethos is based on placing the client experience at the centre of the business so it was fitting to win the Customer Focus category.
This was our first National Business Award.
