On the 4th August 2015, Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA) announced some changes to its pricing structure for online sellers. Whilst ‘changes’ are normally code for ‘increases’, the good news is that this isn’t the case here. Amazon say that they have made changes in order to simplify the pricing structure for online sellers using Amazon’s European market places.

Speaking about the changes, World First eCommerce expert Mark Bond said; “The simplification of fees for FBA primarily affects sellers in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain. In summary the changes standardise weight and size tiers across different territories, consolidate some fees like fulfilment and pick and pack into one charge and launch a reduced-fee promotion for a 12 month period. These changes look certain to be welcomed by multi-market sellers.”
