The International Festival of Business 2016 in partnership with UK Trade & Investment kicked off in Liverpool earlier this week. With three weeks of international business networking on offer and countless opportunities for business leaders to meet buyers, investors, suppliers and partners, it promises to be even more successful and exciting than last year’s spectacle which resulted in £280 million of trade and investment deals being done and many more deals and commercial relationships still in the pipeline.

IFB 2016 consists of internationally renowned business conferences and seminars, offering valuable insights from entrepreneurs from all across the globe and helping businesses grow domestically and internationally.

World First experts will be there as part of Exporting is Great ‘Meet the Expert’ Masterclasses, a series of events designed specifically for small to medium-sized enterprises that aim to grow or export for the first time, to ensure they can get up to speed on the hard won wisdom of those at the top of their game. The twice-daily workshops will be delivered by experts with strong track records of success in a diverse range of business areas. These relaxed and informal sessions last up to an hour, leaving plenty of time to network and make connections through each day of the festival.

Jeremy Cook, our Chief Economist will be on hand to provide expert advice on how to make currency boost your exports on Friday, June 17th whilst Cian Pendergast from our Corporate team will be offering one-to-one sessions on currency advice to SMEs looking to export on Monday, June 27th.

Registration and attendance as an International Festival for Business Club member are free via  http://bit.ly/IFB-Biz-Club.
