We have exciting news! We’re delighted to announce a new partnership with Virgin Money to power the bank’s new International Money Transfer (IMT) service. From today, users of Virgin Money’s IMT service will be able to benefit from World First’s currency broker expertise, technological wizardry and customer service.

The new IMT service on Virgin Money will allow customers to benefit from a simple, speedy and safe way to transfer money overseas – all with the usual World First promise of no transaction fees and a best rate guarantee*.

The partnership will see us deliver a version of our private client offering to Virgin Money, including a fully responsive microsite (that means that it works like a dream on mobile devices – no pinching and stretching here!) and branded online trading platform. We think it continues what we do best by disrupting the international money transfer industry and helping even more people get great rates from great people.

Over the years, we’ve helped more than 75,000 people and businesses exchange more than £26bn, saving them millions in potential fees in the process. This latest partnership with Virgin Money, one of the most trusted brands in UK banking, will bring a credible, convenient and cheaper alternative to yet more people who are looking for a better deal on their international payment transfers.

We’ll leave the last word to Alex Sullivan, our Chief Commercial Officer:

“This partnership epitomises the power of the FinTech sector and is a clear demonstration of the ability of businesses, like World First, to positively disrupt traditional markets for the benefit of consumers. We’re delighted that Virgin Money recognised our simple, safe and secure proposition as the best match for their customers and we look forward to helping even more people make smarter, cheaper and faster international currency transfers.”
