When WorldFirst was started just over 13 years ago, FinTech had yet to gain its notoriety. Pre global crisis, financial services was mostly seen as stale, elitist and unwelcoming. Consumers were getting fed up, businesses were getting a raw deal and there was no end in sight for unnecessary charges, fees and hassle especially when it came to international banking.

Ambitiously, we set out to change that and WorldFirst was born. In just over a decade, a team of 650 across 4 continents joined us in our mission to make international transfers easier, simpler and dare I say it- fun.

With about £70bn worth of transfers under our belt, we’re ready for the next challenge. Today, I’m proud to present a bold, new look and feel for WorldFirst, one that gets us in shape for an exciting future. One that represents our values and those of the 120,000 customers we’ve helped over the years.

We know first-hand from our customers that they’re looking for new ways to achieve their international ambitions and we’re determined to help them succeed in their goal. Our clients never stop. And neither do we. We constantly explore, shift and push things forwards to bigger and better things. It’s an endless mission to help our customers achieve more in whatever they do.
