WorldFirst’s Talent Acquisition team have been selected as a finalist in two categories at this year’s prestigious In-house Recruitment Awards.

They scooped the nomination for Best International Recruitment Team, which recognises UK based recruitment teams who have had outstanding success on the intentional stage. And, they were also selected as a finalist in the Best Recruitment Team (less than 1,000 staff) category. Other finalists in these categories include: Bupa UK, Epson, OLIVER Agency and SilverDoor.

The past year has been truly transformational for the business, with the Talent Acquisition team enabling headcount to grow from 363 to over 500, recruiting in nine different countries and regions across the globe. Lead by Kim Wright, Head of Talent Acquisition, the team has worked hard to protect the culture and values of the business as it expands.

Jonathan Quin, WorldFirst’s CEO, commented: ‘As any CEO will tell you, “it’s all about the people” and WorldFirst will live or die on the quality of its team. Whilst in growth mode, it is essential that we bring in brilliant new people to work with the existing staff and the Talent Acquisition team has done an amazing job, bringing in 267 new permanent hires globally in just one year, a 38% increase in total headcount. The 10% increase in direct hiring also brings a significant cost saving and enables us to attract talent in a more bespoke, personalised way and I believe creates a better recruitment and acceptance process for the candidate.’
