Due to Amazon&#8217;s anti-fraud policies, linking an account to Amazon requires more steps than other marketplaces. You can then select the currency of your marketplace<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background\" style=\"background-color:#f78da83b\">Amazon may ask for further documentation as part of their seller verification process. You can use your Account Verification Letter for this. To generate an Account Verification Letter, simply click on <strong>&#8220;Download proof of account&#8221;<\/strong> below your account details. Your letter will be generated on the next page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"cmutf\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>|<\/strong><\/span> Step 2 &#8211; Add a same-name payee<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"u3e5a8360\">To reduce fraudulent activities, Amazon has specified that all merchants must have a bank account held in their name. Amazon will stop the disbursement of your funds unless a bank account held in your name is added to your World Account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>To add your account, go to <strong>&#8220;Payees&#8221;<\/strong> and click on <strong>&#8220;Add a new payee&#8221;<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Click on <strong>&#8220;Add&#8221;<\/strong>&nbsp;under Single Payee<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Choose <strong>&#8220;My own account&#8221; <\/strong>and select the account type you want to link to: <strong>&#8220;Personal account&#8221;<\/strong> or <strong>&#8220;Corporate account&#8221;<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on <strong>&#8220;Next&#8221;<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Fill out the payee details by following the prompts and click on <strong>&#8220;Next&#8221;<\/strong>&nbsp;once completed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.marmot-cloud.com\/worldfirst\/sites\/9\/2024\/04\/20240711052731497.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width:500px; box-shadow: 1px 1px 3px 3px #EEEEEE;\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.marmot-cloud.com\/worldfirst\/sites\/9\/2024\/04\/20240711052731497.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-33359\" width=\"500\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>After you&#8217;ve added the payee, you might be prompted to do a penny test or upload additional documents to prove that the account is yours<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You&#8217;ll see a notification under the <strong>&#8220;Payees&#8221;<\/strong>&nbsp;tab under Payee Management if you&#8217;re required to perform additional verifications<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.marmot-cloud.com\/worldfirst\/sites\/9\/2024\/04\/20240509071340773.webp\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-32136\" style=\"width: 700px; box-shadow: 1px 1px 3px 3px #EEEEEE;\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.marmot-cloud.com\/worldfirst\/sites\/9\/2024\/04\/20240509071340773-1024x258.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"258\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Once the account appears on your <strong>&#8220;Payee Management&#8221; <\/strong>page and the <strong>&#8220;Action&#8221;<\/strong> is shown as <strong>&#8220;Pay&#8221;<\/strong>, your account has been successfully added<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"u34792c9a\"><em><strong>For detailed steps to verify the payee, please refer to the below guides:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"uf596173a\">When a penny test is required, WorldFirst will send a specific amount of funds to the payee&#8217;s bank account. You&#8217;ll need to check the amount sent to your account and confirm the exact amount within your World Account to complete the verification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Click on <strong>&#8220;Initiate a penny test&#8221;<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Penny test amount will be sent to your bank account<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Check your bank account statement and check the amount that was sent to you<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Enter this amount into the Penny Test Amount box and click on<strong> &#8220;Verify&#8221; <\/strong>to verify your account<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background\" id=\"u9b92e98f\" style=\"background-color:#f78da83b\">If you didn&#8217;t receive the payment, you can click on<strong> &#8220;I did not receive payment&#8221;<\/strong> and resend the payment. The verification validity period is 30 days. If a bank card with the same name fails to verify more than three times, the card will be determined as having failed to verify.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"ud9a67655\">You can also upload your bank statement, AVL, or bank reference letter to verify.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Click on <strong>&#8220;Upload verification file&#8221;<\/strong>. Upload one of the documents listed in the drop-down menu<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Click on<strong> &#8220;Submit&#8221; <\/strong>to submit the document for review. We&#8217;ll inform you of the results<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"ysmvO\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">|<\/span> Step 3 &#8211; Add World Account as a deposit method on Amazon<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"u8b7074f5\">Once you&#8217;ve successfully added your same-name payee, you can link your Receiving Account to Amazon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"u97fa93d0\">On Amazon Seller Central:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background\" id=\"udbcacf36\" style=\"background-color:#f78da83b\">Your bank account also needs to be verified on Amazon before you start receiving deposits. You can follow the below steps to initiate a verification. Amazon will notify you of the results within 48 to 72 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>On the <strong>&#8220;<\/strong><strong>Deposit Methods&#8221; <\/strong>page, click on <strong>&#8220;<\/strong><strong>Manage Deposit Methods&#8221; <\/strong>and find the bank account that you&#8217;re using to receive disbursements<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On the <strong>&#8220;<\/strong><strong>Verify Bank Account&#8221; <\/strong>page, select <strong>&#8220;Bank Account Holder Name&#8221;<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on <strong>&#8220;Upload Bank Statement&#8221;<\/strong>&nbsp;to upload your bank document. Here, you can usually upload the account verification letter of the Receiving Account. Please read Part 1 of this guide on downloading the letter<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Confirm the requirements for verification, and then click on <strong>&#8220;<\/strong><strong>Submit for Verification&#8221;<\/strong>.
