What currencies can I get?
We offer two types of World First MasterCard® Prepaid Currency Card:
- Euro card
- US dollar card
You just preload the currency onto your currency card to spend while you’re abroad. You must be over 18 and a UK resident to apply for a currency card.
You can also get a second card on your account, which is controlled by the main account holder. These cards can only be loaded by transferring a balance from your main card. This means you control the amount of money on the card, so it is great for budgeting spending money.
The secondary card is available to people over the age of 13, making it a good choice for a teenager or young relative.
A secondary card costs just £5, and you can have one secondary card per account.
