Chief Executive Officer
Jonathan co-founded World First in January 2004. His career before this included two years as Head of Business Development within the Financial Markets division of RBS. Prior to that he was at Citibank, initially as a trader before moving to the bank's global corporate sales desk. He then looked after the European sales of Citibank's online FX trading products. Jonathan holds a law and accountancy degree from the University of Edinburgh.

Vice Chairman
Nick co-founded World First in January 2004. He joined Citibank on the UK Corporate Foreign Exchange desk and looked after a large client group including many FTSE 100 companies. After this, he joined Credit Agricole Indosuez to launch their UK Corporate foreign exchange and interest rate hedging business. He most recently spent two years setting up our Australian office in Sydney. Nick holds a business and French degree from Reading University.

Chairman
Sir David joined World First as senior adviser in 2006 and is now chairman. He is also currently chairman of Kings Cross Central and a director of The Royal Opera House. His previous roles include chairman of Prudential plc and director of Rio Tinto plc. In addition he was Deputy Governor of the Bank of England from 1997 to 2002 and was also chief executive of Kleinwort Benson. He is a graduate of Oxford University and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Managing Director
Alex started on the corporate desk in 2006 as the 10th ‘World Firster’. 5 years later Alex became the corporate director and was directly responsible for all our corporate business in the UK. In 2012 Alex joined the Board of Directors as the commercial director, and continuing his career at World First saw Alex become the managing director in the following year. Alex has a strong background in sales, dealing and structured products.

Chief Operating Officer
Jabu is Chief Operating Officer. He joined World First in 2004, having had a diverse range of experience at various companies. He is a fully qualified commercial airline pilot, holds a BSc in Financial Economics from the University of London and holds an MBA from Cass Business School.

Head of ICT
Billy manages ICT at World First. He joined as a software developer in 2009 following on from a spell as a developer at the Brick Lane based digital agency LBi where he worked on big brand websites such as Lloyds TSB, Centrica and House of Fraser. During his time at World First he has overseen the build and delivery of World First Online, World First's web based trading platform. He holds a Masters in Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Bristol.

Private Client Director
Elisabeth manages the Private Client Desk at World First and is responsible for over 27,000 private clients and 500+ partners worldwide. She joined World First in 2006, having previously worked as a client manager at Saatchi & Saatchi. Elisabeth speaks German and Spanish and has lived in both countries. She has a German and Business degree from the University of London.

Sales Director
Graham joined World First in 2007 in the corporate sales team. He has risen through the ranks to a senior advisor, then to Manager of the Corporate Sales team and now Manager of Partnerships and Corporate Sales. Previously Graham worked for a technology based Mergers and Acquisitions firm. He graduated from Nottingham University in 2003.

Head of Corporate Structuring
Greg heads up Corporate Dealing, managing an experienced team advising 7,000+ corporate clients. He joined World First at the start of 2012 from Lloyds Banking Group where he was a Director, advising FTSE 100 and 250 Corporate clients on FX and Commodity Hedging. Greg is FSA registered and can transact all foreign exchange products. He also holds a BSc in Chemistry with Patent Law and a Masters in Accounting and Management.

Manager, Corporate Dealing
Harriet joined World First in 2008 in Compliance and after a couple of months joined the Middle Office team. With a good grounding in how the business worked, Harriet was promoted to a role as Junior Dealer in the corporate team a year later. Over the next couple of years Harriet developed excellent relationships with her clients, along with a promotion to Senior Dealer. In February Harriet moved to head up a newly restructured Corporate Dealing team, looking after all the spot and forward requirements of World First’s corporate clients.

Jason heads up the Ecommerce desk. He joined World First in 2007 having previously worked in accountancy and financial services. He is a graduate of Seneca College in Toronto and the HBC Future Executive Program.

Jessica is the liaison between the IT department and the changing needs of the business. She rejoined World First in 2010, having previously managed the Finance department. She graduated from the University of Cape Town in 2005, with Honours in Finance, majoring in Economics and Accounting.

Marketing Director
Karen joined World First as Marketing Director in 2010. Karen has over 17 years of marketing experience. Her career began at Procter & Gamble where she spent six years working in brand management. She then transferred her skills to the tech sector where she worked in software marketing for seven years, before spending three years consulting for clients such as American Express and Autodesk. Karen has a Masters in Business Administration from the University of British Columbia in Canada.

Group Finance Director
Magnus joined the team at World First in 2011 as the Financial Controller. He began his accountancy career with Deloitte training as a Chartered Accountant. He has since worked for Hutchison Whampoa, Carphone Warehouse, Aquascutum and Minit Operation Board Ltd. Magnus holds a degree in Management Science from UMIST and is a qualified member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Payments Manager

Middle Office Manager
Tasha joined World First in February 2011 as part of the Middle Office team. She previously worked at Citi and completed her Economic History degree at the London School of Economics. Tasha is also a Trustee for the Serendib Charitable Trust which is currently rebuilding a deaf and blind school in Sri Lanka.

Head of Operations
Tim joined World First in 2008 originally working on the E-Commerce desk and then moving into the Project Management domain. Tim now heads up operations for World First and is responsible for a variety of tasks and overseeing multiple teams including Business Change, Operations, Payments and Middle Office. Tim holds a Bachelors degree in International Business, Marketing and Finance.
