Currency Converter Exchange Rates

The rates on the converter are the "interbank" rates. These are the true market rates - the rates at which banks deal with each other in amounts over £5million. Transactions under that amount will receive slightly lower rates.  Purchases of cash bank notes will usually receive rates 2-4% under interbank rates because of the increased processing costs of cash handling and postage.

These rates are provided for indication purposes only. Although we believe them to be correct, they are provided by an external source and we cannot guarantee their accuracy, nor are we liable for any loss incurred as a result of relying on these rates.

Privacy Policy

World First UK Ltd will never pass your contact details on to any third party without your consent and all enquiries will be treated in the strictest confidence. We will only ever contact you at your request, where otherwise necessary, or in relation to any foreign exchange transactions.

Any documentation provided to us will be retained for 5 years and will be securely stored in your personal file.

Calls may be recorded for security, monitoring, training purposes and the clarification of transaction details.

The "Transacted by World First ticker"

The website counter on the homepage (under “Transacted by World First) shows the total amount of foreign exchange transacted by World First since April 2004. To calculate the number on the site, we have added together the actual audited volumes transacted each year up to 31^st January 2011 (our financial year end). We then added an amount equal to £6.42 million per day, which was the average daily transaction volume for February 2011. This number is provided for information purposes only.
