We're delighted that the hard work of our team was recognised with this award. Our entire company ethos is based on placing the client experience at the centre of the business so it was fitting to win the Customer Focus category.

This was our first National Business Award.

Investec Hot 100

Following three years of consecutive growth, World First was recognised in the prestigious Investec Hot 100 list. The Hot 100 list recognises the UK's fastest growing businesses.

World First was the only currency company to feature on this year's list.

Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100

We have been listed in the Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100, the esteemed list of the fastest growing, privately-owned companies in the UK, for the last three years.

Service Business of the Year 

We were awarded this accolade at the 2010 Fast Growth Business Awards. They're held in conjunction with Growing Business magazine as an independent scheme to recognise and celebrate the UK's fastest growing businesses.

We now look after 26,000 individual clients and more than 7,000 corporate clients. Our mission is to never lose a client.

Queen's Award for Enterprise; International Trade 

We scooped this award for offering our clients exceptional exchange rates, service and innovative products that in turn saw our overseas earnings increase six-fold over the three years to 2009.

Best Companies to Work For 2010 & 2011

We received an Outstanding accreditation (Two Star) in the Best Companies Guide 2011 and a First Class (One Star) accreditation in the Best Companies Guide 2010. The Star status recognises us as one of the UK's best companies to work for.

The ranking system is mainly based on surveys of staff satisfaction. Although we've grown rapidly in the last six years we've still maintained the same friendly, small company atmosphere.
